OUR STORY
WHO ARE WE?
Le Terroir S.A.S. is a circular economy company dedicated to developing regenerative agriculture processes and high-end coffee farming. We are located in the heart of the Colombian Coffee Axis, on the Mis Tres Amores farm (Vereda Barcelona Alta, Municipality of Circasia, Quindío). We specialize in the production, transformation, and export of exotic specialty coffees, demonstrating that it is possible to restore ecosystem biodiversity through a highly sustainable agricultural operation with land regeneration practices.

OUR HISTORY AND PHILOSOPHY: THE RETURN TO ORIGIN
In 2022, the dream of Le Terroir S.A.S. was born with the purpose of cultivating specialty coffees at 1,570 meters above sea level. We chose the Geisha variety to initiate a production model under natural shade, an agroecological design conceived under the principles of regenerative agriculture to restore vitality, nutrients, and organic structure to our land.
Today, the farm is a living testament to environmental restoration and a refuge for biodiversity where herpetofauna (frogs, lizards, and snakes), mammals such as agoutis, opossums, and armadillos, and a dense population of endemic and migratory birds coexist, turning our environment into a biological paradise. Through the use of camera traps, we have recorded the return of imposing and environmentally sensitive species such as the Tayra and the Central American Puma, confirming the healing of our biological corridor.
This environmental impact consolidated us as a flagship project of circular economy and sustainable production. We minimize chemical impact by prioritizing manual labor and favoring the use of organic fertilizers, fungicides, and herbicides that nourish the soil microbiome instead of degrading it.
In 2023, we consolidated this effort with the registration of our brand: LA TERRA PREMIUM COFFEE, created to offer some of the best coffees in the world to the most sophisticated palates, under principles of fair trade and environmental responsibility.
In 2025, we defined our ultra-specialization route by introducing exotic and niche Arabica varieties, expanding our portfolio with varieties such as Laurina, Maragogype, Java, Moka, Melona, and a select line of Bourbons (Sidra, Papayo, and Rayado among others), harmoniously adapting them to our regenerated ecosystem.

HOW WE DO IT: OUR PORTFOLIO ARCHITECTURE
Our regenerative agriculture practices ensure long-term soil conservation, primarily nourishing coffee plants with rainwater and promoting living plant cover. At Le Terroir, we understand that the global market demands diverse profiles; therefore, we design a structured portfolio that highlights the best of our land and the region:
Exotic and Specialty Microlots: We create sublime sensory experiences by combining the purity and sweetness of ancestral gems in exclusive blends, such as our emblematic Tabi and Geisha Blend, as well as the development of pure niche varietals (like Laurina).
Signature Processing Line: We bring traditional varieties to their maximum expression through innovation in processing. Here, our Castillo variety coffees stand out, processed under rigorous Natural and Semi-Washed protocols, achieving full-bodied cups, intense fruity notes, and exceptional sweetness.
Regional Selections: We pay homage to the coffee tradition of the Coffee Axis through the curation of Regional Blends that masterfully integrate varieties such as Caturra, Colombia Variety, and Castillo, offering clean, balanced, and consistent cups, ideal for palates seeking the classic high-end Colombian profile.
Our entire process is artisanal and ecologically beneficial (focused on optimizing water use), emphasizing methodologies that respect nature's rhythm, such as controlled aerobic fermentation for 72 hours for natural processes, and slow, controlled sun drying inside African bed-type greenhouses.

LOGISTICS AND EXPORT QUALITY
Once dry, the coffee is protected in GrainPro bags and transferred to the Quindío Coffee Processing Plant. In this technological complex, storage, hulling, electronic sorting, roasting, cupping, and profiling processes are carried out, ensuring that the regenerative value generated in the land translates into a homogeneous standard ready for the most demanding markets in the world.
OUR TEAM
The success of Le Terroir lies in the synergy of a multidisciplinary team that shares the vision of conscious coffee farming:
-
Fifth-Generation Coffee Growers: They bring traditional knowledge, respect for the land, and the precise execution of regenerative practices in the field.
-
Quality Assurance (Q Grader): Led by our Q Grade cupper, who is an expert in exotic varietals and recognized among the top three cuppers in Colombia. She is responsible for rigorously profiling each lot, ensuring that the richness of living soil is fully expressed in the cup.
All our staff are formally employed and affiliated with the National Social Security System.
Social Commitment and Legality: We firmly believe that ecosystem regeneration must go hand in hand with human dignity. All our staff are formally employed, affiliated with the National Social Security System (health, pensions, ARL, and compensation fund) along with strict compliance with their legal benefits (vacations and severance pay).
